Working with money
How do I handle ethical dilemmas about a family's money choices?
Being aware of the details of a family’s finances may present some ethical challenges. Here are some examples:
- Knowing that someone is claiming Centrelink payments to which they are not entitled
- Realising that someone has claimed material aid from two different agencies, neither of which is aware of the involvement of the other
- Finding out that someone is underestimating their income to reduce child support obligations.
