How do I handle ethical dilemmas about a family's money choices?

Being aware of the details of a family’s finances may present some ethical challenges. Here are some examples:

Knowing that someone is claiming Centrelink payments to which they are not entitled
Realising that someone has claimed material aid from two different agencies, neither of which is aware of the involvement of the other
Finding out that someone is underestimating their income to reduce child support obligations.
