Although low income families may feel that they have no option regarding money management because their income is so limited, strategies do exist for helping families to make the most of what they have. This module prepares family workers to assist if families are having a new baby, needing to buy whitegoods, or taking out a loan. It also identifies strategic opportunities such as thinking about Christmas and using small savings.
