Mira - With six kids you do a lot of washing

Mira has six children. Her husband has serious health problems, and is unable to work, and one of their children is deaf, and needs lots of attention.

Mira has been working with her family support worker Ben to cope with the family’s needs.

When the family washing machine broke down she thought her only option would be a costly rental arrangement. Ben told her about the local No-Interest Loan Scheme, which proved to be a cheaper way to get the much needed washing machine.
