Ryan - I feel a lot less stressed

Ryan was referred to a family support service after his wife was gaoled for four years. Ryan had to take on the full-time care of their two young children, and cope with a reduced income.

Struggling to pay the rent and buy food, he got behind on credit card payments and began to dread opening the letterbox because he didn’t know how to deal with the Bank’s letters.

When Ryan’s family worker Suzi asked him how things were going financially, he was relieved to have someone to tell.

Suzi helped Ryan approach the Bank, and they negotiated reduced payments.
