Second hand appliances can be bought from commercial stores, charities, or directly from owners. Second-hand goods can be much cheaper than new items.
- Second-hand appliances are generally sold without guarantee. Reconditioned appliances may come with a warranty period.
- If possible check that parts are still available.
- Check the cost of transporting goods. This may be expensive if it isn’t provided by the seller.
